I've always had a keen interest in art, even from my earliest childhood memories at primary school when I would always be very creative in all mediums.
I was raised in Lancashire in the UK and still live in the small town of Colne, just on the border to Yorkshire, over the hills from Skipton. I took Art and Design at GCSE level and excelled at pencil drawing as it was a medium I thoroughly enjoyed working with. Following leaving school and college, where I studied draftsmanship, I pursued a career within the motor industry, using my creative talents and love of cars to make a career in vehicle refinishing and accident repair.
Following the recent events with the Coronavirus lockdown, and feeling somewhat unfulfilled in the motor trade, I picked back up on my drawing skills which I refined even further over the space of 6-8 months until I realised I felt confident enough to produce
very high quality, photo-realistic drawings from scratch. In order to test my skills, I chose an amazing picture of an Eagle (see link to the Eagle page) which kickstarted my side career as a realism and portrait artist in October 2020.
As of early 2021, I have already commissioned several portraits for very happy customers and look forward to working with new clients to produce one-off pieces of beautiful artwork, along with creating breathtaking portfolio work which I look forward to making available in limited-edition print form.
